The living space combines a cosy seating area where you can snuggle up to the roaring woodburning stove, which can also be enjoyed from the bedroom as it sits in the middle of both rooms. Enjoy cooking up a storm in the well-equipped space kitchen whilst enjoying casual dining at the breakfast bar taking in the views beyond the garden. The Cart Lodge has a large bedroom which can sleep 2 plus up to 2 children on the comfortable day bed and pullout bed, so there's plenty of space for a young family, or couples looking for a quiet getaway.
Enjoy a day trip to the historic city of Tunbridge Wells which is only 5 miles away and wander around the quaint shops, enjoy a spot of lunch, and take a stroll with your four-legged friend along the common. A must is a visit to Scotney Castle and Gardens, Sissinghurst Castle or Groombridge Castle, or for train lovers take a trip on a steam train on the Spa Valley Railway which runs through the beautiful Kentish countryside and turns into the Polar Express for the festive season! And if you fancy a trip to the coast then Hastings is only a 20-mile drive away where you can enjoy a wander along the coastal paths and a spot of fish and chips!
