October Half Term Activities - Why Do We Remember?
23rd October - 28th October 2018
Throughout the half term holiday get creative and contribute to our Poppy 'Wall of Remembrance' as part of the 5000 Poppies exhibition.
Tue 23 Oct: Printed Poppies Create a potato printed picture filled with a field of ruby red poppies to contribute to the Museum's 'Wall of Remembrance'.
Wed 24 Oct: Paper Poppies Make two tissue paper crafted poppies - one to contribute to the Museum's 'Wall of Remembrance' and the other to take home as a mark of remembrance.
Thu 25 Oct: Felt Poppies Construct a felt poppy to add texture to the Museum's 'Wall of Remembrance'.
Fri 26 - Sun 28 Oct: Pastel, Pencil and Pen Poppies Sketch your own poppy and use pastels, pencils or pens to add the characteristic scarlet red colour.
Normal admission prices apply - tickets are valid for a whole year. Plus £2 per child, per activity. Drop-in sessions.
