We have been running this Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation near Tunbridge Wells for over thirty years and take pride in our friendly and helpful care of our guests. We really enjoy it! You can see independent reviews on www.TripAdvisor.co.uk.
The listed Georgian farmhouse, which dates back to 1750, is on a three hundred-acre sheep and arable farm in the middle of the High Weald Area of Natural Beauty. The spacious rooms have lovely views towards Ashdown Forest, and across the River Medway, which here forms the boundary between Kent and East Sussex. We have a guest lounge with an open log fire for the exclusive use of guests. We specialise in using locally-sourced food. There are various animals near the house such as chickens, pet rabbits, quail and turkeys.
Our B&B in Ashurst is an excellent centre from which to explore the Garden of England. Nearby are some of the wealth of attractions that the South East of England has to offer, such as castles, famous houses and nationally important gardens, or you can take part in various sports such as golf, climbing, or horse riding, or just relax in the beautiful countryside. We also have a campsite for tents, camper vans, and a few touring caravans. London is within easy reach by train (45 – 55 minutes), either from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, or from our station at Ashurst. Gatwick is 35 minutes away by car.
