Oldbury Hill Campsite offers a relaxing and easy getaway in a Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can explore the neighbouring woods and hill fort, or walk a little further to Ightham Mote’s 14th-century moated manor house, gardens and estate. You’ll have free entry here during your stay as well as at all other National Trust properties, including Knole and Chartwell which are a short drive away.
The campsite is next to Oldbury Hill, a hill fort with 2 miles of substantial earth ramparts built between 150 and 50 BC. From the site, a network of paths lead through Styants Wood and off into the surrounding countryside.
Some of the drive-on, grass pitches have electric hook-up available. A simple facilities block, with toilets, showers and washing up facilities, is tucked amongst the trees at the edge of the site.
Borough Green and Sevenoaks train stations are around ten minutes away, offering transport to London.
