The Secret Cottage offers two carpeted mezzanine sleeping areas (this involves climbing a stout wall-fixed ladder, therefore guests should judge if this suits their needs and abilities) with loft style low bed frames and double luxury mattresses complete with 400 thread count bedding. Although a studio style cottage, the mezzanines are mostly enclosed for privacy.
There is a lounge with sprung double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower. To ensure complete comfort, guests have control of the cottages underfloor heating, controlled by a digital thermostat.
The owners live on site and would be delighted to share their knowledge on local places of interest, walking routes and suggestions for eating out and drinking.
The cottage is separate from the main house and located within a small stretch of woods, secluded from everything except nature, providing an ideal place to relax and enjoy the countryside.
For an additional cost, a hamper of breakfast essentials; milk, eggs, bacon and sausages, cereal and bread can be prepared for you. If you are celebrating or simply want to indulge, champagne, prosecco and a freshly baked cake can also be arranged for a charge. Please discuss your requirements with the owner.
