A brand new exhibition by Liz Shedden at Lilford Gallery within the city walls
Our latest exhibition will open on the 25th April at 6PM!
We will be welcoming an artist new to the gallery, so read on to learn more about her and her work. Liz Shedden trained in Fashion and Textiles in the 1980’s and her work has always been influenced by texture and pattern. After living in London and overseas she moved back to her home town of Whitstable in 1992 and started painting again. Mostly known for her ‘windy’ seascapes, and whilst the sea has been an inspiration, over the past couple of years the garden and all things botanical have had an influence too. Liz is inspired by places visited on her travels - the colours, smells, weather - the Greek Islands, Scottish Highlands, and the South of France.
