On this willow basketry course you will learn about where willow grows, it’s uses and how to prepare it for making baskets, etc. You will have the choice of making a functional basket, starting with how to make a round base, how to weave up the sides and how to make a border to complete your basket; or you can make a small animal, for example, a duck, a tortoise or something similar in size. Participants should bring a packed lunch and outdoor clothing for this course. Tea and coffee will be available all day.
