Join us for a powerful solo exhibition by Dover-based artist Zel Hunt
Join us for a powerful solo exhibition by Dover-based artist Zel Hunt, whose work explores memory, landscape, and the hidden traces of the Kent coast. Layers of Memory presents a series of richly textured paintings created through a process of building and excavating layers of paint, wax, and Letraset. Zel’s work is inspired by the chalk cliffs, shipping lanes, and wartime histories that surround her in Dover — and the emotional resonance of what is seen, and unseen.
The exhibition runs from 25th April to 10th May 2025 at Natasha Pearl Gallery, a fine art gallery and bespoke picture framing studio located just outside Canterbury.
Based at Chalkpit Farm in Bekesbourne, we’re just minutes from Howletts Wild Animal Park and surrounded by beautiful countryside walks — making the perfect creative day out. On site you’ll also find a café, vintage furniture store, florist and free parking.
