Day 1 - Stop 1 - Reculver - AM - 2 hours+
Start your trip by heading to a slice of quiet coast - Reculver, which was once at the point of the Wantsum Channel, a body of water between the Isle of Thanet and mainland Kent today. Noticeable along a great stretch of coastline is the remains of a church. The area is perfect for a peaceful day at the beach, or walk from here to the likes of Birchington or Margate and beyond.

A classic British seaside town, Herne Bay is one to visit for arcades, mini golf all finished off by a dip in the sea and fish and chips after - soak it all in!
