Day 1 - Stop 2 - Penshurst Place and Gardens - PM - 3 hours+
11 acres of formal gardens surround the beautiful palace that is Penshurst Place that has stood in the village sicne the 14th century. One of Kent's finest country homes, it was once a hunting lodge for King Henry VIII.

Day 2 - Stop 3 - Knole - National Trust - AM - 2 hours
If you've ever seen a picture of Kent, you're likely to have seen some pictures of Knole Park and its deer that wander the approximately 950 acres.Within the woodland sits Knole House that itself measures 4 acres - one of the biggest in England - and was once home to archbishops and royalty.

Day 2 - Stop 4 - Tonbridge castle - PM - 1 1/2 hours
Standing proudly over Tonbridge is its namesake castle - which is a 13th century motte-and-bailey castle. Today its home to a number of local events and is quite the place to enjoy a wander on a summers afternoon.
