Day 1 - Stop 1 - Westgate Towers Museum and Viewpoint - am - 1 hour
Begin at the iconic gateway to Canterbury - the Westgate Towers. On certain days the towers are open for a gaze across Canterbury and the nearby Westgate Gardens. We also really recommend taking a walk through the Westgate Gardens if you have time!

Day 1 - Stop 2 - The Beaney - AM - 2 hours
This local gem is housed in one of Canterbury's most beautiful buildings. Not only will you be able to soak in an everchanging gallery space, but also see some local history and even beyond our borders!

Day 1 - Stop 3 - Canterbury Cathedral - PM - 2 hours+
No trip to Canterbury is complete without visiting the Cathedral. Visible from across the city and its surrounds, the Cathedral is one of the most visited sites in the country for its nave, crypt and history.

Day 2 - Stop 4 - Canterbury Roman Museum - AM - 1 hour
Canterbury was once a Roman centre of commerce and within the current city walls and beyond and in this city centre museum you can find beatutiful mosaics as well as jewellery and helmets

Day 2 - Stop 5 - St Augustine's Abbey - AM- 1 hour
If you'd like to instead continue your history tour of the district and city of Canterbury, head just outside the city walls to St Augustine Abbey which was a Benedictine monastry and burial ground for former Anglo-Saxon kings of Kent,

Day 2 - Stop 6 - Howletts Wild Animal Park - PM - 3 hours
Just outside the city is one the country's finest animal parks - Howletts. Home to 390 animals including leopards, gorillas to anteaters this is an afternoon well spent learning all about our fellow inhabitants.
