This project was conceived by Peter Cosier, who also undertook together with Ray Lawrence, the research work into the social history of the characters featured.  They also produced the plaque in its final form, incorporating a QR code.  The project was coordinated by Malling Action Partnership working with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council, and Visit Kent who kindly agreed to host the QR code material.  We are grateful to all home owners who agreed to display these plaques on their homes to ensure that the fascinating stories of West Malling people who have played an important part in our local and often national history will not be forgotten.
