It’s in our nature…summer fun with English Heritage

From medieval fun and games and pirates and knights at Dover Castle to summer quests at Walmer Castle and Roman history and discovery at Richborough Roman Fort, it’s in English Heritage’s nature to host a historic family-friendly summer. Little historians will have plenty to keep them entertained with fab and fun activities going on every day throughout the school holidays, plus we’ve got a few discounts and ideas to keep parents smiling this summer, too.

Where to watch the World Cup live in Kent

After the wonderful performance of our Lionesses in the Euros during the summer of 2022, it’s time for the men’s team to try and Bring it Home too! With the World Cup being played throughout the end of November and into December, there’s a number of locations in Kent showing the tournament live, with some pretty special settings. It’s worth noting that due to the time difference, some games from other countries will show from 10am, but the majority of England’s games will be shown at 7pm – with England playing against Iran, the USA and Wales in their first group games.

Whether that’s through nature-positive activities or experiences, reducing energy-use or celebration of local produce – we call them, Impact Heroes!
