Terrifically terrifying at Leeds Castle
Watch and listen as Halloween performers share eerie witches’ stories, join in fancy dress competitions, embark on the pumpkin trail and complete the Halloween activity booklet. With your Leeds Castle ticket you can also take lots of family portraits at the Instagrammable Halloween frame at the entrance/exit, perfect for sharing your “terrifying” day with friends and family.
Halloween Spooktacular at Kent Life
Come along and join in with the family friendly Halloween events as Kent Life is transformed for the spooky season.There’s pumpkin carving, creepy corner, fun farm rides and daily fancy dress competitions. Are you brave enough to come along and trick or treat in the historic houses? You never know who’s lurking behind the doors! Trick or Treating is available every day in half term.
Wicked Woodland at Walmer Castle and Gardens
As the days shorten and the evenings grow darker, join the ghost-hunting storytellers on a family friendly walk through the shadows of Walmer Castle's gardens. With well-told tales full of spooky and strange goings-on, this Halloween walk is sure to get you into the spirit of the season. This is an outdoor early evening tour lasting around 45 minutes. Dreamland to Zombieland
Totally Wired, Kent’s biggest & best alternative party returns to Dreamland for their 16th Annual Halloween Party! DJ’s Fragile & Orlandimus will be joined by guest DJ’s & dancers for what will be their best Halloween ever! Expect to hear all the latest and greatest rock, indie, pop punk, metal, emo hits & more.

Hauntings at Hever Castle
Come dressed up in your spookiest outfit, listen to traditional ghost stories and spot Halloween decorations around the grounds. Enter different zones in the gardens including witches, spiders, skeletons and bats to find letters spelling out a mystery word in return for a small prize. You will also have the chance to plant garlic bulbs in a free family-friendly workshop. The perfect activity to ward off any stray vampires! After that, get your ticket to the castle and follow another spooky trail inside the home of Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn (who did meet a very horrifying end!)
Kent Wildlife Trust
The cauldron is bubbling as animals and keepers at the Kent Wildlife park get ready for some frighteningly good October fun! From Saturday 1st - Monday 31st October, the infamous Witch of Wildwood will be flying in on her broomstick for a feindishly fun-packed howl-oween. Wicked “Winifred” - well known for her resting witch face - will be imparting her wisdom on some brave young witches and wizards and showing them how to create potions as part of a month of fiendish fun at the wildlife park, near Canterbury. Whilst there, you'll be getting up close with more than 40 species of British wildlife, from bison and badgers to wolves and wildcats. There’ll be the chance to learn more about the spookier animals - from ravens to rats - on site with engaging daily talks from Wildwood’s team of experts (from Saturday 15th - Sunday 30th October).
Eeeek at Eastgate House
Spooky and atmospheric, the evening of classic ghost stories at Eastgate House should be one to head to for an intimate evening in the 16th century Grand Reception Room if you can handle the spine-tingling! And if that doesn’t scare you silly, the incredible Halloween Horrors at Fort Amherst in Chatham should do it! Wander around the tunnels in the fort and some gruesome surprises might await you!

Sparklers at the Spitfire Ground
Another of Kent's most well known firework events in the area is back for another year, at the fabulous Kent Cricket Ground! With a funfair, live music and more, this family friendly event costs just £8 for adults and £2 for children in the historic city of Canterbury.
Fireworks in Thanet
Quex Park is back with their annual fireworks display over their beautiful gardens and parkland on 5th November, or head down to the seaside with your sparklers for Broadstairs Fireworks night for an exciting event down on the coast.
Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground
The big family event at Tonbridge Racecourse is back for 2022 on Sunday 6th November - the charity display will light up the night while you get a classic hotdog from from one their independent food vendors.
Leeds Castle Fireworks Night (for 2023!)
Ok, pre-warning that this incredible event is already sold out for this year, but we're telling you about it still so you are READY to snap up your tickets next year! The spectacular event will see an evening of dazzling Roman Candles and Catherine Wheels light up the sky over one of the UK's most picturesque castles, and this event always sells out quickly. Tickets for next year will be available in 2023 from Leeds Castle's website.
