The details of each prize are as follows: 

Boys Hall

  • The prize is a Bed and Continental Breakfast for two. 
  • The prize must be redeemed Sunday-Thursday.
  • The prize must be booked before 31st August 2024. 

Chapel Down

  • The prize is a Cheese and Wine Experience for two. 
  • The winner must be over 18 at the time of entry. 
  • The prize must be redeemed within 1 year of winning. 

Copper Rivet Distillery

  • The prize is a Signature Cocktail Masterclass for two. 
  • Ticket holders must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to experience time at the Pumproom Cocktail Bar. Should you miss your allocated time we will be unable to allow you into the class.
  • Tickets may not be exchanged, nor money refunded if you have provided less than 48 hours’ notice.
    Copper Rivet Distillery reserves the right to refuse admission to, re-admission to, or request that you leave the premises.
  • During our experiences we walk up two flights of stairs. Currently, we are unable to offer accessible cocktail classes. We are sorry for this inconvenience. If you do have any queries regarding this, please call us to discuss.
  • Due to the nature of our experience’s participants must be over 18 years old.
  • We are a smoke free site, and any smoking must be done off premises.
  • Pets and animals are prohibited apart from assistance dogs. Due to food and drink production regulations, we cannot have any animals in our main distillery. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Dogs are welcome in our Pumproom Cocktail Bar and outdoor terrace.
  • From time to time we, or other authorised third parties, may carry out photography or other recording at the distillery and any images or recordings may feature visitors. Visitors consent to the use of such images by us in connection with advertising, promotions or monitoring and acknowledge that the copyright in such image’s rests with us and/or any authorised third party of Copper Rivet Distillery.
  • The distillery is a controlled working and manufacturing environment, and you should exercise due care and attention on the tour. Distillery staff may draw your attention to specific health & safety procedures to which you must adhere.
  • All guests must adhere to alcohol licencing regulations. All guests entering the premises must behave in a reasonable and responsible manner.

Southeastern

  • The prize is return train passes for two adults valid on Southeastern services only (including highspeed services).
  • Passes are not transferable. 
  • Pass must be produced on the request of authorised personnel. If lost, the holder must report this to the issuing officer immediately. 
  • Passes will be sent as eTickets upon receipt of the full names of both passengers and travel dates. 
  • Please allow a minimum of 5 working days before travel for tickets to be distributed.

 

 Visit Kent's Terms and Conditions

The promoter is Visit Kent whose registered office is at 10 Best Lane, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2JB

  • To enter the competition, you must be: a UK resident and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of age may be required.
  • Employees (or family members of employees) of Visit Kent or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition. 
  • To enter the competition, you must complete the entry form on the competition page.

The competition entry period starts at 12:00am on Thursday 27th June 2024 and closes at 11:59pm on Friday 19th July 2024. 

  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • There will be one winner. The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 22nd July 2024.  If the winner does not respond within 2 days of the notification being sent, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and re-draw an alternative winner. 
  • The decision of Visit Kent in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  • Visit Kent is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 
  • Visit Kent reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in any event outside of the Visit Kent control. 
  • No cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered.
  • The prizes are non-transferable.
  • Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prizes with others of equivalent value without giving notice. 
  • Unless otherwise stated, prizes do not include any personal expenditure or other incidental costs other than those agreed by Visit Kent.
  • Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions will be disqualified. 
  • If Visit Kent has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the promotion, choice of winner(s) or any entry), Visit Kent reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entry, entrant or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity. 
  • Visit Kent does not accept responsibility for network, computer, and hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. 
  • Visit Kent is not responsible for the safety of any person(s) participating in winning experiences. 
  • Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Visit Kent and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: a) any postponements or cancellations of the competition; b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize; c) any act or default of any third party supplier. 
  • By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

  • By entering this competition, you consent to Visit Kent collecting and processing your data in order to determine a competition winner. You will not receive any additional information from us or partners unless you opt-in to these.
  • If you opt-in to receive additional email updates from Visit Kent, you consent to receive promotional emails from Visit Kent and you are given the option to unsubscribe from these emails at any time. For full details on how we handle your data, please read our privacy policy in full.
  • If you also opt-in individually to receive email updates from any third parties associated with this competition, you consent for us to share your data with the parties you have selected and for them to send you promotional emails only in the future. Once the winner’s details have been confirmed by email to Visit Kent, the contact details will be passed onto the business whose prize it is to arrange the prize.
